This 'micro-neighborhood' is set back away from the major boulevard it sits on, isolating it from traffic and noise. The single entry point restricts traffic entering the neighborhood, creating a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere.

The project was designed with the resident in mind. Front yards and open lawns for community use are a integral part of the site design.  A nature trail with exercise stations winds around the edge of the site through the preserved green belt along the eastern edge of the property, giving residents safe and nearby exercise opportunities.

The duplex homes are separated down the middle of the site by a small-scale boulevard-style streetscape.  Planted and raised islands are separated by at-grade sections of Grasscrete, an environmentally friendly surface, for guest parking.

The spacious Craftsman style units were designed and positioned to take advantage of views of the Black Hills and Olympic Mountains.
